Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Bristol

Filini Restaurant

Broad Quay, Bristol BS1 4BY, UK – 0117 934 9500

The food is ok. Arrived at 7.30pm and the waiter said they had no steak or pork belly which I thought was unusual for a restaurant that's just opened. The lamb cutlets an swordfish were ok. Wine was nice and service good

I'm guessing not many people would choose to dine in a hotel restaurant over anywhere else...but Filini's worth a punt. They often appear on the deals websites too, so keep an eye out for special offers. It's an Italian restaurant with a number of Sardinian specialities, which gives the menu a different edge to many others in the city. You have a great view over the city centre if you're lucky enough to get a window seat, but it really does feel like a hotel restaurant inside. Be warned: if you order the pizza, I'd advise avoiding having a starter (unless you're really hungry!) as they're enormous! Try the Filini Taster Pizza if you do: it gives you the chance to sample four of their different pizzas on one, with each topping taking up a quarter of the pizza. The tiramisu is also fantastic, and they offer a range of starters - including sharing antipasti boards - to complete your meal. Worth a punt.

COSMO Bristol

30 Triangle W, Bristol BS8 1ET, UK – 0117 934 0999

Nothing to complain about here. Really tasty, quality food with a huge selection of dishes. You can also order prawns, scallops and steak cooked in front of you to perfection. Eat as much as you like but there is a time limit for seating, I think an hour or so which is plenty of time and it never feels rushed. It's always busy so best to book.

We were on a girls night out on a Friday night. At the door we were greeted by a really friendly and funny man, who accompanied us to the waiting room as one of us was late. Then we were guided to our table. They had a good variety of food , deserts and drinks. The place Seems to be clean and friendly and approachable staff team. I will definitely return. They have really good price as well.

Harvey Nichols Second Floor Restaurant And Bar

27 Philadelphia Street, Quakers Friars, Bristol BS1 3BZ, UK – 0117 916 8898

They place is very simple. The products are very expensive but the decor was plain, just white, glass shelves and silver railing.

Fantastic food and an unbelievable bar. I'd give it 6 stars but alas only 5 stars available.
